I live in Derby with my Husband & 2 girls age 6 & 4. As well as running my family, home & business (mostly in to the ground!), I somehow manage to run a choir too!
Lots for Tots is a free quarterly magazine for parents & carers of the under fives. My aim has always been to reach as many parents as possible, bringing them local information on what's on & what's available for them & their children in a friendly, informal package. Since it's launch the magazine has grown from 4,000 copies up to a staggering 30,000 copies over 3 Counties- Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Staffordshire. I edit the magazines- Derbyshire South, & Burton-Ashby & myself & a fabulous team of distributors help in getting it out to the readers.
2010 saw the launch of the first ever Bump to Five Show, a collaboration between Lots for Tots & KC Sales Consulting. Sponsored by Westfield Derby, the show is a huge event every Spring hosting many stalls featured in the magazine & lots of new ones too. It's Lots for Tots on legs!
The next exciting step for Lots for Tots is to franchise the magazine into new areas of the UK, allowing other parents to build a business & enjoy the flexibility of working from home like I have.
